These photos are about 25 years apart. I’ve maintained about the same body shape in those years, even after giving birth to 2 kids. But this past year, my metabolism slowed drastically, and boy, does it SUCK! I also had a new injury to my left knee while shooting a scene in S7 of @agentsofshield which didn’t help. I’m sure aging & hormonal changes are factors too. My tummy always feel bloated & flabby. It doesn’t matter what I eat, the weight doesn’t come off. I used to BLINK and would drop 2 pounds! I know I’m not overweight, but I don’t feel my best. And THAT’S important in living like a Wenever Warrior. You gotta figure out what makes you feel good. (To be honest, a nap will make me feel real good right about now!!😁)

Well, I’m posting these photos to motivate me to get back in shape. To incorporate more exercises to tighten my tummy and lose 5 pounds. Good to do right before the big holidays! For you, it might be 1 lb or 10 lbs. Let’s set a goal together! Tell me your goal. I’ll cheer you on! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 TONIGHT, I am going to do situps, stretches, biking and use my elliptical. After I dust it off!! (I haven’t used that thing in awhile!) 🤣😂💪💪💪👊👊


Oh, and watch what I eat. I’ll still eat everything I want, but in smaller portions. You ready?! ✌️✌️


DAY 1

I’m doing it!


First step is throwing on some workout clothes and sneakers! Just finished my warm up on the stationary bike and watched 20 mins of @maiseltv! Now I’m going to stretch! #multitasking #guiltfreestreaming

No bike? Then just do some jumping jacks or run in place. Bounce up and down. Whatever to warm up the body! 💪👍👏🙌❤️🥰💪




DAY 2

Rough day. Detoxing is SO rough the first few days. Migraine for me! Hang in there if you’re feeling bad too. It gets better! For me, I’m eliminating gluten. Body’s been feeling achy because of too much gluten. I love bread & pasta, but too much of it, and I start feeling the muscle pain!


It could also be from doing the plank and exercises! 😁Today I did a total of 5 minutes. At 1 minute every couple of hours. Throughout the entire day! It’s a quickie exercise. 😏No excuse not to apply one minute wenever I can to strengthen & tighten my core. Try this method! Or any workout. Just a few minutes throughout the day. Better than nothing!💪 I’m going to add 30 secs every day to the planking. For tomorrow, I’ll try to do a plank every hour. Let me see. One 90 seconds plank every hour. Minimum of 12 planks every day. That’s 18 minutes of planking for tomorrow! And with this pose, it doesn’t matter what I wear. Even in a dress. I will let you know if my tummy flattens from doing this! I sure hope so!

DAY 3


I lost 2.6 lbs. in a day!!! Hell, I know what you’re thinking. “It’s mostly water weight, Ming.” HEY!! Don’t poo-poo on my happiness! Who cares! It’s progress! Results! Well worth the detox migraine yesterday!!! I am motivated to keep up my planks, exercises and eating small portions. Oh, and no sweets or gluten. I am eating carbs, but not gluten.
