Exercise with Ming-Na.

On August Ming-Na posted on her instagram because she is working on her cookbook (and here we can't wait to see it) she is having an unwanted weight gain and she wanted to get rid of it. She wanted we joined (or cheered) her on her new goal and she gave us a few tips of how she is doing it.

I will share some tricks I use whenever I have to get fit.


I bet you have clothes in your closet that don't fit you, but that you hope to fit into one day. Am I right? Look at how many pieces I pulled out that don't fit me now. Those little shits.😏


When I reach my ideal weight, it's going to be very satisfying when I can wear them again.


Well, here's my tip #1:


-Go through your closet and pull out ALL the clothes you currently CAN'T wear. And while you're at it, make another pile to donate or throw out! Decluttering your closet will make you FEEL lighter!

-Only have the clothes that you can wear in your closet. Everything else, OUT!

-Put the too tight, FU clothes away in a bin. 😂


NOTE: For those who think I look fine with my poochy belly and that I don't need to lose weight, I thank you. 🥰❤️But for me, I don't feel my optimal best with the extra pounds. My body feels flabby, bloated and weak. Everyone has an ideal weight or figure. MINE is 8 lbs lighter. What's yours?


Let me know if this inspires you to at least clean out your closet. Don't keep stuff that will make you feel bad about yourself. Don't give your clothes that power! I know I feel better already!😊☺️😁😘

Other day she posted a video with some easy warm up exercises she does.


Easy Warm-Ups!


Do these simple movements several times a day! Anytime! Anywhere! I love doing it while watching tv or when warming up leftovers in the microwave. Precious minutes to do some warm ups. Your body and mind will thank you. 👍🏼💪🏼


Note: It's best to do the tai chi movements slow and light. And without distractions. No music, tv on, etc. Allow yourself a few minutes a day and do those 2 baby taichi steps to a more relaxed and focused YOU!🥰❤️


I already shed a little of my weight. Yay! I've been doing this thing called intermittent fasting. Look it up! It's simple but requires discipline & will power! It's good for brain health and other benefits besides weight loss.


I've only had coffee with a little almond milk and water this morning. Yes, I am hungry! Lunch time!


Tip #2

-Keep a journal of your food & beverage intake. This way you're more honest with what's going into your body. Sometimes, you may be drinking your calories.




For food, she gave a yummy advice that looks so good.


Obsessed about Greek salads lately! Perfect with the hot weather we're still having in LA. Great for losing belly fat and weight. Healthy salad packed with vitamins, potassium and iron!


Best part is it's so yummy, I don't feel I'm dieting. Only thing is I don't like raw onions in my salad, but add it to yours if you do.🥗


I made my own dressing too. This salad is definitely going in my cookbook!👍🏼👏🏼😋🥰😍 #mediterraneanfood
