Before the holidays, Iām on a cleanse to detox my body. Itās like a reboot. A healthier updated Ming. I am eliminating soy,(not easy for a Chinese girl!), sugar, wheat, tomatoes, dairy, eggs, corn, pork, beef, shellfish, lunch meats, sushi, peanuts, alcohol, coffee(š³), and nightshades. Thereās more, but you get the idea. For 3-4 weeks. So what the hell CAN I eat. Well, nut balls! ššš

These have almonds, cashews, chia seeds, hemp seeds, almond butter, dates, pecans, coconut palm sugar, and cacao powder. Iām adding some stevia-sweetened chocolate chips to a batch too! These nut balls are delicious! Check out my IG highlights of how I made them.
Of course, you donāt have to go to extremes like this cleanse. But at least, make treats that are healthier for you. This way, you can snack #wenever you want without feeling blah afterward. These nutballs give you nutrients, energy and fills you up. (You get the feeling I like saying nut balls?ššš)
Happy Holidays!šā¤ļø
