First of all, congratulations to Ming-Na for winning a Saturn Award!! Here at MNU we are so proud of her, she deserves all the awards but specially for achieving her geek dreams and let us participate in her journey. We love you Ming-Na!
On Tuesday were the 50th Saturn Awards, and Ming-Na was nominated as the Best Actress in a Streaming Series. Ming-Na attended the awards and in an interview saying that was an honor to be nominated and a surprised because it is so much content out in the genre so having that recognition with her beloved character Fennec Shand was the icing on "a geek cake". She was also very grateful that the Star Wars fandom embraced Fennec Shand and she was so excited to see all the little girls with their Fennec Shand cosplays.

The ER actor Noah Wyle was one of the presenters of the award so I count that as a ER mini reunion and Ming-Na was sp excited to see him giving her the award. In her speech Ming-Na told the audience she was a little asian girl in a foreign country and sci-fi and fantasy make her belong and when she discovered Star Wars found her religion. She thanked Dave Filoni and John Favreau for creating Fennec Shand for her. She continued saying that she felt good in that room because all people were nerds there and "it feels a feeling of belonging". She thanked her team, her family, and the Academy, to finish her speech she quoted Star Wars, "May the Force be with you. Always".
On social media Ming-Na was really busy after the awards. She first tweeted quoting the Saturn Awards account to thank them for the win.
She added more names to her thanks, her co-star on The Book Of Boba Fett Temuera Morrison and all the team involving the show.
On her instagram Ming-Na was celebrating her win and saying thanks to all the people involved.
