After a long break from the online world, we are thrilled to reconnect with you all. Taking time away wasn’t an easy decision, but it was necessary. Today, I want to share why we stepped back, what I’ve learned during this pause, and what exciting changes you can expect moving forward. Most importantly, I want to hear from you—your thoughts, ideas, and what you’d like to see next.

Why I Took a Break

Life often demands unexpected shifts, and for me, the past months brought a mix of personal growth, challenges, and reflection. The decision to pause was driven by a need to recharge and refocus. Here are some key reasons behind my hiatus:

  • Avoiding burnout: Constantly creating content without breaks can drain creativity and energy. I wanted to step back before feeling overwhelmed.

  • Personal health: I have been very sick and needed to step back.

  • Quality over quantity: I realized that producing meaningful, well-thought-out content matters more than frequent posts.

During this time, I also faced some unexpected challenges that taught me resilience and patience. These experiences have shaped how I approach my work and life now.

What I Learned During the Hiatus

Taking a break gave me the chance to reflect deeply. Here are some valuable lessons I want to share:

  • The power of rest

Rest isn’t just about stopping work; it’s about giving your mind space to breathe and recharge. Creativity often flows better after rest.

  • Listening more

I spent more time listening to others’ stories and feedback. This has helped me understand what truly matters to my audience.

  • Embracing change

Change can be uncomfortable but also necessary. I learned to welcome new ideas and adapt without fear.

  • Balancing life and work

Finding harmony between personal life and online presence is crucial. This balance keeps motivation high and stress low.

  • The importance of community

Even when offline, staying connected with a supportive community makes a big difference.

What’s New and What to Expect

I’m excited to bring fresh energy and new ideas to this space. Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming:

  • More in-depth content

Expect longer, well-researched posts that dive deeper into topics you care about.

  • Diverse topics

While I’ll continue with familiar themes, I’ll also explore new areas based on your interests.

  • Regular updates

I plan to post more consistently, balancing quality and frequency.

  • Guest contributions

Look out for guest posts from experts and fellow creators to bring fresh perspectives.

How You Can Join the Conversation

Your voice matters. This space is as much yours as it is mine. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Share your thoughts

Reconnecting after this pause feels like starting a new chapter. I’m grateful for your patience and support. Together, we’ll build a space full of meaningful conversations, learning, and growth. I can’t wait to hear from you and continue this journey.

While i had spent a long time away, I did get to see Ming-Na Wen last October in New York City Comic Con. It was a wonderful weekend.
