Since July the SAG-AFTRA (and the WGA before them) are on strike, Ming-Na supported them since day one, she did a shout-out on her Walk of Fame speech last May for the writers and proudly supported the SAGAFTRA union on the actors strike.
This past August went twice to the picket line, one with her The Joy Luck Club co-stars a sisters Lauren Tom and Tamlyn Tomita.
