Ming-Na shared this post on instagram on New Year, sending her best wishes and a safe and prosperous year. From MNU we wish her the best and a quick recovery for her mum. ❤️
I got to ring in 2023 with my mom, who is recovering with remarkable speed. 🙏🏼💪🏼Look at this woman warrior!! Such a badass!!✌🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Our #NYE party was a delicious homecooked lobster dinner with just me, my mom, Eric, his mom and Aiyi. (BTW, so very grateful for this woman. 🙏🏼)
We watched the Times Square countdown on TV in Vegas. 🎉🥳🎉Happy New Year at 9pm PST.😁
Yep, taking care of our aging parents is definitely not easy and can really be a huge burden. But it is better than the alternative! I’m so grateful that my mom’s with us. 🥺🙏🏼
I know my emotions have been all over the place. Not sure I’ve fully processed the scare of almost losing my mom. My heart dropped when my brother called to tell me she was in a bad accident. Then I saw her severe injuries. 😳😢🥺I just dove into “fixer” mode to cope. Still in it for now, which is good. Can’t be an a sobbing mess right now.
I’m so thankful to my doctor friends who gave their expert advice, guidance and reassurance. Grateful to Jonathan, Wei, Eric, all the first responders, her surgeon and all the staff at UMC hospital in Vegas for all they did for our precious mother. Mom has many angels 😇👼❤️ protecting her, for sure!!
2022 had been glorious and fun in many ways, but it did end with us feeling overwhelmed, worried and exhausted. Tonight’s dinner made up for all the chaos & trauma and reminded us just how lucky we are. 👏🏼👏🏼
Here’s to 2023!!❤️ To health!! Love you, Mommy!!❤️❤️
Wishing you all a safe and prosperous New Year! 🥰❤️🥰
